Automatic Transmission Specifications

Applies directly to our truck. Our 4A30 is the Turbocharged variant, so use the Turbo column/row throughout this page (bolded below), not Non-Turbo.

(verify printed p.176) — two flagged items:

  1. Axle Speed Sensor limit shown as “100-3000” with no unit given in the OCR text (likely Ω, but not confirmed). This same figure recurs identically in A/T Dealer Level Testing, so the number itself is consistent across the source, but the missing unit is not.
  2. Shift Control Solenoid Coil No.3 was transcribed as “11-1502”, which does not parse as a clean ohm range. It most likely reads 11-15 Ω (matching the No.1/No.2 spec directly above it), but this is a reconstruction, not a confirmed reading — do not rely on it without checking the printed page.

MD998332Oil Pressure Gauge — Transmission Adapter

(verify printed p.176) — the MD998332 description was OCR’d as two stacked lines (“Oil Pressure Gage” / “Transmission Adapter”). It’s presented above as one combined description consistent with how both part numbers are referenced together in A/T Dealer Level Testing (“Attach MD998330 & MD998332 Oil Pressure Adapters”), but it is possible these are two distinct tool line items with a missing part number for one of them. Not confirmed.
