Required Testing Equipment
Diagnostic work on the Pajero Mini’s engine/body electronics is done with the Mitsubishi MUT-II hand-held test unit, connected through the body and engine harness connection points.
MUT-II Hand-Held Test Unit Kit
Kit contents:
- MUT-II tester unit
- Engine & body harness connectors
- Power test lead connectors
ROM Packs
The MUT-II uses interchangeable ROM Packs specific to each vehicle series.
- ROM Packs are per vehicle series — use the correct pack for the model being tested.
- Do not power on the MUT-II without a ROM Pack inserted.
- See the Parts Catalogue for correct ROM Pack part numbers.
- Always store ROM Packs in anti-static cases when not in use.
Connecting the tester
Attach the MUT-II hand-held test unit at the body harness connection point as shown in the manual’s diagram.
