Brake pedal height
Height limit: 204-209mm (8.03-8.23 in).
- Loosen the pedal rod lock nut.
- Turn the adjusting rod as shown in the diagram to set pedal height.
- Tighten the lock nut.
Stop lamp switch clearance
Stop lamp switch plunger clearance limit: 0.5-1.0mm (0.020-0.039 in).
- Loosen the switch adjusting nut and set clearance as required.
(verify printed p.266) — a secondary figure label near the stop lamp switch diagram was transcribed as “0.8-1.Co”, which does not parse cleanly. It most likely restates a value within the 0.5-1.0mm clearance range shown in the section heading, but this could not be confirmed against a clean copy of the diagram.
Brake pedal engagement travel
Limit: 3-8mm (0.12-0.31 in) travel.
Brake pedal deck height clearance
Limit: 90mm (3.54 in).
